Spread the Love Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us in this hop. If you've come from Kimmi Blakey's blog (Poppy Petal Designs) then you're on the right track.

Here's a little bit of information about why we're doing the hop:

"On October 4th, 4 teenagers armed with knives broke into a home in a small town in New Hampshire. Alone and sleeping inside were a mother and he
r 11 year old daughter. These 4 boys broke into this home with the intent to rob and kill anyone inside. They stabbed the mom, Kimberly Cates, to death and left her daughter, Jaimie, for dead in their driveway. It was a completely random act, their home was chosen only due to its secluded surroundings."

Our hope is that everyone hopping around today will stop for a moment and think about Jaimie and her father and what life must be like for them now. One moment in time has changed their lives forever. We are asking that everyone reading this message please take a moment to make a card and send it off to Jaimie. You can make something very simple or much more involved, but please share some words of hope and love and let her know that people do care and want the best for her."

Please send your card to the address below:
Jaimie Cates
c/o Mont Vernon Fire Station
Main Street
Mont Vernon, NH 03057

Members of the Crafty Creations team were so deeply touched by this story that we have decided to join in on the hop and offer some prizes up for those that create a card for Jaimie. If you're wondering what kind of card you should make, here's a little bit about Jaimie: "Jaimie is not really a girlie girl, but she does like hot pink and black. She likes outdoor activities such as biking, skateboarding, razor rip stick, snowboarding, and karate. As you may have read, she is a black belt in karate.

If you create a card for Jaimie and post a direct link to your creation in the comments section, you will be entered to win some prizes donated by some of the Crafty Creations design team members:

Jaime

Here are the cards that the design team members have decided to send off to Jaimie:

Your next stop is Jennifer Scull's blog (Just Coffee Please... & Stamps, & Ribbons, & Paper). If you get lost, you will find all the links to the hop members on the Stamp Something...for Jaimie blog. The blog hop start today, at 10AM EST and runs until November 9, 10AM EST.

We hope you join us in this amazing cause and send Jaimie some hope.

Thank you,
